THE ASBO STORY
ASBO started with a name that was never supposed to sound clean.
Anti-Social Behaviour Order.
A phrase you hear thrown around, usually attached to someone causing trouble, standing out, or simply not doing what they’re supposed to.
We took the name and made it ours.
ASBO isn’t about trying to look like everyone else. It’s about having your own thing and wearing it because you like it — not because you’re waiting for someone else to approve it.
The clothes are built around that idea.
Heavyweight. Comfortable. Simple where they need to be, different where they can be.
We don’t want every piece covered in a massive logo just for the sake of having a logo. We want things that you can actually wear, that still have something about them when you look closer.
Because ASBO isn’t supposed to explain itself straight away.
There’s a reason for the strange artwork.
There’s a reason for the hidden details.
There’s a reason you might see something on the street and wonder what it is before you realise it’s ASBO.
That’s part of it.
You’ve been seen.
The stickers, the sightings, the artwork, the website, the clothes — they’re all pieces of the same thing.
We want ASBO to exist outside of the website.
Something you notice on a wall.
Something you see on someone’s back walking past.
Something that makes you look twice.
We’re not trying to build another brand that tells you exactly what you’re supposed to think.
Wear it your way.
Style it your way.
Make it yours.
ASBO is for people who don’t necessarily want to fit perfectly into one box.
People who want to stand out without needing to shout about it.
People who care about what they wear, but don’t take themselves too seriously.
And people who see something different and think:
Yeah. That’s me.
This is only the beginning.
The clothes will change.
The artwork will change.
The ideas will get bigger.
But the name stays the same.
